Lee Teng graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialisation in human resource management from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She obtained an Executive Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, The City University of New York with a certificate of honor and Beta Gama Sigma membership. As well, Lee Teng graduated with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a Master of Divinity from the Asian Pastoral Institute. She has passed the ABRSM’s grade 5 music theory and singing exams. She has also completed the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme accredited by the Chartered Governance Institute and administered by the Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore to equip herself with knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, understanding of corporate strategy and structures, and the skills to support and advise the board of directors.

Lee Teng is currently the admin/HR director of The Tabernacle Church and Missions and associate pastor of Crystal Tabernacle. Her admin/HR portfolio includes managing workplace policies, staff onboarding and departure, training and leave matters, church membership and attendance statistics, and purchase requisitions for the corporate office. She is also the corporate secretary of the Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors, and is responsible for the submission of annual reports and financial statements to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and the Commissioner of Charities. In addition, she serves as the secretary/treasurer for the Church in Missions Association and handles the annual submissions to the Registry of Societies and the Commissioner of Charities.
