1. Eligibility
In general, admission to the Asian Pastoral Institute is based upon Christian commitment and experience, as well as academic record.
Applicants must be baptised Christians and members (at least three years) in good standing with their churches. They must obtain 2 Forms of Reference from a pastor / elder and one other Christian leader from their churches. Applicants must also be at least 21 years old by 1 January of the year in which they wish to be enrolled.
2. Application
Student’s Application for Registration form for any programme and the corresponding 2 Forms of Reference must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the registration deadlines. Otherwise, a late application fee of S$20 will be charged.
3. Review Process
The review period for each application cycle is two (2) months for Singaporean students and (4) months for International students. During the period of review, applicants may be required to provide additional information to facilitate the review and may be called upon for an interview.
4. Success
Applicants should expect to receive the letter of acceptance or rejection via email from the Office of Admissions two (2) months before programme commencement. Any appeal for admission should be submitted within 2 weeks from the date of rejection.
Successful students would be required to follow the instructions in the letter to prepare for their enrollment.
