Pei Jun is an engineer by training; specialising in process design, project execution and commissioning of water/waste water treatment systems. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore and worked in the engineering private sector for several years before responding to God’s call to enter full-time ministry with The Tabernacle Church and Missions.

In the course of her theological studies with the Asian Pastoral Institute, Pei Jun developed a keen interest in Biblical Studies, especially in the New Testament.  In particular, she finds herself drawn to the Johannine gospel and epistles. She is currently reading a PhD at Durham University to be better equipped to teach at API.

Being an engineer, Pei Jun likes to be hands-on and has served in the Worship Ministry as a bass guitarist as well as the PA & Media Ministry, and the Events Management Committee. Besides preaching, she also teaches in the Adult Christian Education (ACE) programme, and provides pastoral care and mentorship to youths and young adults in church.
