Eng Chuan graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He was elected President of the Student Union in active service in student community. Similarly, he was awarded the best recruit in combat engineering in National Service. Eng Chuan went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, UK. He serves now as an adjunct lecturer of this MBA programme.

To grow his faith and its practical outworking in community service, Eng Chuan pursued a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Asian Pastoral Institute, and a Master of Social Science (Professional Counselling) from Swinburne University, Australia. Over the last ten years, he has counselled families with problems of child raising and couples with marital issues. He has also counselled MBA students facing anxieties, stress, and low self-esteem. HIs work has taken him to India, China and various South-East Asian countries. He has also lived three years in the United Kingdom. He is thus well able to appreciate both Eastern and Western cultures. To keep himself abreast of professionalism, he has embarked on his Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counselling with Liberty University, USA.
