Jeanne Lian is Dean and member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Pastoral Institute (API). After her training in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore, Jeanne completed her postgraduate training in a Master of Divinity, East Asia School of Theology, Singapore, and a Doctorate of Education, Graduate School of Education and Human Development, George Washington University, USA.

As the Dean of API, Jeanne is responsible for the overall operations and administration of the API. She oversees the budget, works with the executive committee to set academic rules and policies and handles all administrative duties of the institute. She leads the faculty in programme development and manages their accreditation. Under the guidance of the President, Dr David Jeremiah Seah, she helps to develop the faculty and oversee curriculum development.

Jeanne is also one of the Associate Senior Pastors of The Tabernacle Church & Missions. Since joining the ministry in 1999, she has helmed multiple ministries, including the children, youth, adult and elderly ministries. She also mentors staff and church leaders. She has led mission teams to the Philippines and China. She currently serves as a pastor in Crystal Tabernacle and Mizpah Tabernacle, and is the overall pastor in-charge of the two Chinese congregations in The Tabernacle. Jeanne concurrently serves as the Administration Pastor of the church and has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Tabernacle since 2011.

Prior to her joining API, Jeanne has been trained in business and market development, and has been instrumental in setting up training and service programmes, new businesses and joint ventures. She is experienced working in local and international MNCs, as well as new set-up and governmental institution. Her outstanding performance has been recognized; she has received company awards including Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Work Performance in 1995.
