Wendy is an Assistant Pastor with The Tabernacle Church and Missions and teaches Old Testament Studies in the Asian Pastoral Institute. After graduating from the National University of Singapore, she rose to be Senior Manager at the National Parks Board, Ministry of National Development.

In response to a call to full-time service in the church, and to better serve the Christian community, Wendy read the M.Div. and Th.M. programmes at Trinity Theological College. Wendy was then appointed as Teaching Assistant for biblical Hebrew in the M.Div. programme. Her research interest lies in Old Testament studies, sacramental theology and biblical Hebrew.

Wendy’s duties include providing pastoral care and discipleship to university students in Nanyang Technological University and the pulpit ministry. She leads worship and conducts the children choir. She is the Chief Editor of Tab Touch, a quarterly magazine of the church. As well, Wendy provides pastoral care and disciples the young adults in the church.

Wendy has participated in the church’s song writing competition, an initiative to encourage local compositions for worship in the church. She has composed a total of four songs, all of which won first prize in the years 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2018 respectively.
